Sun-Vista is the leading brand of canned pinto and miscellaneous bean products sold in southern California. Sun Vista products are healthy, low in fat and lend themselves to many different uses in salads, refrieds, ethnic recipes and chilies, among others. Faribault Foods produces Sun-Vista products in its Faribault, Minnesota plant and distributes them through public warehouses in the Los Angeles and Phoenix markets.

These were the beans I remember eating growing up in LA and even living overseas, to have that little bit of home, is so worth it!

Same as others have mentioned, moved away from CA and unable to find them in CO. All other brands don't compare because they're missing the key ingredients in this brand which are the same used when making homemade Mexican beans at home. If I don't have time to make my own, this is the go-to brand.

The word for SunVista beans is "velvety." I moved to the East Coast from California and was surprised to discover that I could not find this brand anywhere. In California it's very popular in the Latino community. I don't have time to make my own beans and I tried several other brands but was just bummed at how inferior they were. I found these online and now I get my beans in the mail!
