Taza Guajillo Chili Chocolate Mexicano is made by hand in small batches from single source, sustainably grown cacao. To season this chocolate, we use a small amount of locally grown guajillo chili, a spice traditionally paired with cocoa in Mexico. Our Guajillo Chili Chocolate Mexicano has a rustic texture and powerful notes of citrus and smoke, with a slow-to-develop heat that's assertive but not overwhelming. 100% USDA certified organic.
50% Dark Chocolate. Ingredients: Organic roasted cacao beans, organic cane sugar, and organic guajillo chili powder.

Almost excellent

Aside from the "crumbly" feel in the mouth (I expected it to be smoother), the chili chocolate combination works really well. There is just the right amount of heat and it is delicious.

I'm not crazy about burny-spicy tastes, however this one was surprising. Instead of searing my tongue the way many chili peppers do, the burn didn't happen until I swallowed and then only in my throat, and it felt wonderful! I could definitely see myself drinking this when i have a sore throat, the feeling was awesome!

- Definitely buy more than one of these or you will regret it when it's gone!
