Pico de Gallo Sauce is one of the most popular in Mexico. It is typically served from a clay bowl or stone mortar to accompany fresh tortillas and grilled meats, fowl, fish or melted cheese.

Ingredients
1 1/2 white opinions, finely chopped4 tomatoes peeled, seeded and finely chopped2 to 4 chiles serranos, finely chopped1/2 cup finely chopped cilantroSalt to tasteJuice of 1 line2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
1. Combine onion, tomatoes, chiles and cilantro in a bowl. 2. Season with salt, lime juice and oil. Stir and marinate for 1 hour before serving. 3. Serve with totopos, cheese tacos, quesadillas or empanadas.
