Jocoque was hard to obtain even in California. It's nice to have it here in the East. People who have never tried it were very impressed.

Not a yogurt, not a cream

Jocoque isn't easy to find at every grocery store. It's something like a yogurt, but it's also like sour cream. I like dipping carrot, celery and jícama sticks in jocoque. Sometimes, I add some herbs and spices to the jocoque to make the taste even more special. I'm glad I found Los Altos Jocoque on the Internet. I don't need to search for this healthy treat any more.
