I used to eat Salsa Ranchera in the early 80's. That's right, I'm that old and it is that old. The taco truck put it on their quesadillas. It was searing hot. Lots of jalapeno and onions, too. I needed to wash it down with cold soft drinks. But I loved it that way. What I just bought is so tame, I conclude that La Victoria is only making this a tad hotter than Salsa Suprema. This is not MexGrocer's fault. I don't make internet reviews, but when asked, this one product was a disappointment. I'm still looking for a tasty, hot salsa now.

Salsa Ranchera, best salsa on the planet. Have been using it for years in many recipes and as a dip. While spicy it is extremely tasty and versatile. Not easy to find in my locale but not any more thanks to MexGrocer.

This tastes like it was just made. Ingredients are not mushy or soupy. Can still taste the individual ingredients with a clean, HOT flavor on top that isn't overwhelming even though it's hotter than competitors. Yum - I put this on sandwiches too! In cottage cheese! Mixed in mashed potatoes! With eggs of course!

This salsa is fantastic on pizza, chicken dishes and on steak. My local supermarkets rarely carry this salsa and brand. This salsa is by far, more superior than the other brands of salsa. Salsa Ranchera has been my favorite for many years. It's great mixed into scrambled eggs, omelets, & topping burritos. My local stores stopped stocking it, substituting bland inferior brands, so I was so glad I found Mexgrocer and can order it online.

This has been my favorite hot sauce for many many years. It is not "just hot". It is "hot with great flavor"! Several years ago it became difficult to get at my local shopping places, and though plenty of locally-available sauces taste "okay" none taste as good to me as this one (and second, La Vic Thick & Chunky Hot). So... I've been ordering it online since then. MexGrocer has been my "go to" to get it and I've ordered usually from 10 to over 30 jars at a time and use 'em until almost gone then order more.
