real corn flavor...

I was happy to find MexGrocer carries these, they disappeared from my usual market. Almost as good as pure homemade, but a lot quicker when you just need a snack. I tried freezing a package and they survived... Just thaw in the original vacuum sealed package.

But they are not available anymore. It’s been a couple of years! Just wondering why! On list to get notified when they do become available again.

Lived in San Diego for 35 years and took buying fresh tortillas for granted, used to go and buy them from all local tortilleria in San Diego. Moved to Montana and there is not a decent corn tortilla in the entire state. These are so good that the price is worth it. I use them one package at a time and freeze the rest. They are great !

Living on the East Coast, good corn tortillas are impossible to find. These were really good - easy to fry & work with. Plus tasting like "CORN". I would recommend them. Even shared them with a friend who was making enchiladas. She loved them too.

I love these. It only takes a minute to cook and these are about 50% lower in calories than the cooked ones you buy at the store.
I like to make vegi tacos for breakfast or lunch. I spread some of your Black Bean Dip on the tortilla and add fresh vegetables for a healthy and low calorie meal.

Pros

Easy to cook, all you need is a frying pan. No oil required, just the pan.

We live in Ohio where flour is a dominant tortilla. Being a native Californian, I was use to and preferred corn. These tortillas have been a life saver since the grocery stores don't have great variety. Plus, they taste good and they are strong...for the heaviest of tacos. We will buy these again and again until we decide to make our own corn tortillas.

It is virtually impossible to get good packaged corn tortillas in the US. They always have a funny flavor - maybe preservatives? These uncooked tortillas on the other hand taste like the real thing! They fluff up nicely when you cook them on a comal and are soft and pliable for making real Mexican tacos. Very good!
