Herdez Tomatillo Verde Mexican Cooking Sauce - 12 oz.12 oz.

I miss this sauce so much I even tried ordering a case of it since no grocer in my area still carries it. I was sent an email saying Herdez no longer makes it. I had to go find a suitable replacement, which I did, but this was clearly a huge hit by Herdez. Bring it back!

This cooking sauce is perfect for enchiladas and burritos. The flavor is great for both pork and chicken. No need to add any other spices.

Working full time and coming home to make a great meal can be a hassle, but since I discovered this souces my dinners are less stressful. I love the flavor the sauce has, I am used to homemade fresh sauce and this jar baby has never failed me.

Product arrived wrapped twice, taped,then carefully package in sturdy cardboard box fully taped closed-with handle carefully red sticker next to my address for all mail handlers to be aware of. I appreciate that thoughtfulness.

I use this cooking sauce in my crockpot. I add a chuck roast, Rotel, jalapeno pepper, fresh cilantro with the sauce. It makes a delicious meat to eat with tortillas or to put on bread for sandwiches.

In my small town in the Mid West we have 2 grocery stores..... I was making some Chili Verde Pork and I could not find any fresh or canned tomatillos or green salsa of any sort but I ran across this cooking sauce and used it, I was very pleased with the flavor. Two weeks ago I was making verde again and now neither store has this sauce or tomatillos!! The sauce has a great smooth taste, I will continue to look for it at different stores in our area. Being from CA and being taught by a Mexican gentleman and his wife that owned a restaurant how they prepared it, I am having to try different products to help get that awesome taste we are looking for and your Tomatillo Verde Mexican Cooking Sauce helped bring back the flavor I wanted to achieve.

I'm not used to getting so much flavor out of a jarred sauce, this one was quite a surprise. I will be making this one a pantry staple!

I loved this sauce. Excellent flavor and very versatile. I made a healthy enchilada with turkey and zucchini with it that my entire family devoured. Will definitely buy again.
