GREATEST TASTING CHILI POWDER

This stuff is tremendous - on pizza - spaghetti - ravioli - casseroles - soup - anything you might like spicy. This comes in really handy when my crop of Pequin peppers doesn't last all year. Sometimes there isn't a real summer - and sometimes we found birds were eating them all just as they got ripe.

I ordered this chili for a salsa recipe that called for it. It made the best salsa! It called for only 1 teaspoon and I added that amount. Next time I think I'll make it 3/4 teaspoon. That stuff is powerful, but sooo good.
I also have to add that this grocer was very good to work with. The order came in a short amount of time. I would use them again.

The pequin has to be the best tasting chili, not as hot as some but the best taste. We grow them, but last year there was no fruit season, summer never really happened here, so not peppers. The previous year the birds ate almost every pepper before we discovered it was birds and not kids or someone stealing the peppers. The shop is a life-saver. I don't like to eat very many things without this powder on them.
